Addressing the event, Chairman of the Viet Nam – Russia Friendship Association (VRFA) in the city Hoang Minh Nhan described the revolution as a monumental event of the 20th century, not only creating a new world but also leaving the mankind with a great legacy of progressive ideology—a truth centered on peace, freedom, equality, and the right of all nations to self-determination.
The revolution holds tremendous significance, having a vital impact on the revolution and development of Viet Nam, he said, stressing that it laid the foundation for the good traditional relationship between Viet Nam and Russia.
For Viet Nam's revolutionary cause and people, the revolution remains a powerful motivation, guiding humanity toward a new era of progress, harmony, and development, he added.
Expressing his joy at the increasingly strengthened relations between Viet Nam and Russia, which endured through the tests of time and historical ups and downs, Nhan affirmed that the HCM City VRFA will do its utmost to preserve and foster the exemplary, loyal, and longstanding bond between the people of the two nations.
Deputy Consul General of Russia in HCM City Iurii Nemtsov showed his gratitude to the HUFO for organising the event which demonstrates the Vietnamese people's deep respect for a meaningful event from over a century ago.
He noted that this revolution marked a fundamental turning point in human history, transitioning from old capitalism to new socialism, becoming the starting point of great achievements, ushering in a new era not only for Russia but the entire world./.
