Thai Ambassador awarded Medal

(Vietpeace) On December 12, Mr. Anuson Chinvanno, Ambassador of Kingdom of Thailand to Vietnam was presented the Medal “For Peace and Friendship among Nations” at VUFO’s headquarters.


 
 
The ceremony saw the presence of representatives of Commission for External Relations of CPV’s Central Committee, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Vietnam – Thailand Friendship Association; staff of  Thai Embassy.
 
Addressing the event, Mr. Vu Xuan Hong, VUFO President, appreciated Mr. Anuson Chinvanno’s contributions to strengthening friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Thailand. In the 3-year-term, Ambassador Anuson Chinvanno actively boosted the two countries’ relations in the fields of security, defense, economics, commerce and tourism. Moreover, he also made important contributions to enhancing solidarity, friendship and people’s exchange between the two countries.
 
Ambassador Anuson Chinvanno expressed his honor receiving the Medal - the noblest one of VUFO. He also was very proud of his contribution to the development of friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Thailand. He hoped that Vietnam – Thailand relations will further develop, bringing about benefits and peace for the two countries and the region as well.
