Vietnam State President pays tribute to late South African leader

(Vietpeace) President Truong Tan Sang led a State delegation to pay tribute to the late President of South Africa Nelson Mandela at the Embassy of South Africa in Ha Noi on December 10th .


 
In the funeral register book, President Sang wrote: “the Vietnamese Party, State and People mourned for the late President Nelson Mandela, the eminent leader of anti-apartheid movements. Nelson Mandela will always be a symbol for peace and justice.”
 
The Vietnamese leader expressed his profound sympathy to the family of the late President and the South African National Congress, as well as the State, and People of South Africa.
 
“I believe that all the South African people have fortitude and strength enough to bear this great loss and then may continue making great achievements in national development”, he continued.
 
On the same day, delegations from the CPV Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations, the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations also paid their tributes to Nelson Mandela at the Embassy./.
