The event was co-organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations, the RoK Consulate General in the City, and the Viet Nam - RoK Friendship Association’s Ho Chi Minh Chapter.
The Viet Nam - RoK Friendship Association of HCM city affirmed that Viet Nam and the RoK have made strong progress in diplomatic ties over the past 25 years, as demonstrated by the establishment of the strategic partnership and RoK is the biggest investor into Viet Nam.
Consul General Park Noh Wan emphasized that the Viet Nam - RoK relations over the past 25 years have been fostered by generations of leaders and people and have thrived significantly in economics and culture. The Viet Nam - RoK Friendship Week will promote mutual understanding, solidarity and bolster the bilateral friendship.
On the occasion, the RoK Business Association in the City presented 46 scholarships and 20 bicycles to disadvantaged students with outstanding academic records.
