President of the HCM city's Viet Nam - Slovakia Friendship Association Bui Quang Hai congratulated Slovakia on the National Day. Over the past decades, generations of Vietnamese officials and experts have graduated from many universities in Slovakia. Many graduates are holding important positions in Vietnamese ministries and agencies, becoming witnesses and bridges liking Viet Nam and Slovakia, fostering traditional friendship and cooperation between the two countries, he said.
He thanked the Slovakian Embassy and Consulate General in HCM City for supporting his Association to promote its role in connecting local people with Slovakians. The construction of the Friendship Tower invested by the CZ Slovakia – Viet Nam Co., Ltd will be one of the unique symbols for the sound traditional friendship between the people of Viet Nam and Slovakia.
A representative of the Slovakian Embassy in Viet Nam Le Hong Quang highlighted the strong and effective development of the bilateral relations in politics, economics, culture and society which was demonstrated by high-level delegation exchanges of the two countries as well as the stable growth of two-way trade and the investment of Slovakia in Viet Nam and vice versa.
Highly speaking the efficient contribution, Quang called for the Association and the HCM city’s Union of Friendship Organization would continue organizing people-to-people diplomacy activities with Slovakian localities in order to further develop the bilateral cooperation.
