Can Tho city celebrates 40th anniversary of establishment of Vietnam – Australia diplomatic relations

(Vietpeace) The Can Tho City Union of Friendship Organizations and the Can Tho Cutural Centre held a musical show at Le Huu Phuoc Park to mark the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Australia on June 5th.

This event is one of  the City’s activities to commermorate the Vietnam – Australia Friendship Year.

Vietnam and Australia officially established diplomatic relations on February 26th, 1973. The multi-faceted cooperation relations between the two countries have been growing strongly in recent years. The two-way trade turnover between Vietnam and Australia has increased significantly, nearly 5 billions USD in 2012. Australia is one of the leading ODA providers of Vietnam.

The show ended, but the Vietnam – Australia frienship still remains in the hearts of the Can Tho people./.
