Attending the meeting were Mr.Dao Van Binh, member of the HPC’s Standing Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi Fatherland Front; Mr.Tran Quang Canh, member of the HPC’s Standing Committee, Director of the HPC’s Commission for Mass Mobilization; representatives of the Hanoi Department of External Relations, the Department of Home Affairs, the Department of Finance, the HPC’s Office and HAUFO’s leaders.
At the meeting, the HPC’s leader reported on the deployment and implementation of Directive No.04-CT/TW of the CPV Central Committee’s Secretariat and the Decision No.41/2013/QD-TTg of The Prime Minister, as well as the results of people-to-people diplomacy via HAUFO’s operations over time.
Mr. Vu Xuan Hong highly appreciated the serious deployment with full responsibilities of HPC in implementation of Directive No.04-CT/TW, the comprehensive coordination of the People’s Committee, the Fatherland Front, departments, agencies, and authorities of Hanoi. Owing to that, the awareness of people-to-people diplomacy was strengthened. He also acclaimed HAUFO for enlisting supports from leaders of HPC and the Hanoi People’s Committee, displaying the proactive, flexible and creative spirit to fulfill its tasks. He suggested HPC continues to thoroughly grasp Directive No.04-CT/TW and Directive 28 -CT/TW, especially concretize Decision No.41/2013/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, and create best conditions for HAUFO and its staff.
On behalf of HPC, Mr.Nguyen Cong Soai expressed his sincere thanks to VUFO’s leaders for caring, supporting and promoting people-to-people diplomacy of Hanoi in recent years, and directed the city’s relevant authorities to deploy Decision No.41/2013/QD-TTg of The Prime Minister in the coming time.
