The “Viet Nam – Thailand Trade and Investment Promotion 2017” aims to create more opportunities for enterprises of the two countries, enhance exchanges and connections and contribute to further promoting trade, economic and investment relations as well as strategic partnership between Viet Nam and Thailand.
Prachuab Chaiyasan, President of the Thailand – Viet Nam Friendship Association and Sanan Angubolku, Chairman of the Thailand – Viet Nam Business council highly spoke the meeting at that time, in the context of developing friendship, cooperation. The two countries marked in the integration process in Southeast Asia and ASEAN are preparing for the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Association (8/8/1967 – 8/8/2017).
The two leaders affirmed that they will support mutual businesses in terms of legal procedures, seeking business opportunities and consulting policies for Governments.
At the conference, Pho Hoang Han, Counselor of the Embassy of the Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand, expressed that the Embassy would support Vietnamese enterprises to take full advantage of opportunities from the ASEAN Economic Community, bilateral and multilateral trade agreements and many preferential policies to attract investment and trade promotion to achieve trade balance between the two countries. The Embassy praised the efforts of the Thailand – Viet Nam Friendship Association, the Viet Nam – Thailand Friendship Association to organize the Viet Nam – Thailand Trade and Investment Promotion Conference. The two sides exchanged views on the investment environment in Thailand and shared their experiences in strengthening cooperation and promoting economic, trade and cultural development.
Ta Quang Ngoc, President of the Viet Nam – Thailand Friendship Association, emphasized that during the past two years, the two Associations have accompanied both businesses. Many activities aimed at strengthening exchanges, cooperation and being as a bridge in bringing enterprises of the two countries closer and boosting effective cooperation for greater prosperity. As well as consolidating the strategic partnership between two countries.
The leaders handed over the trophy and certificates to Vietnamese outstanding enterprises which have made significant contributions to the socio – economic development and multi-faceted cooperation between the two countries.
Both businesses have also carried out connections, sought opportunities and nearly 20 representatives of companies connected business partners in the field of shipping, plastic pipe production, cosmetics, waste treatment systems...
