The program, the third of its kind, drew the participation of 350 people, including nine ambassadors and more than 100 diplomats from the embassies of India, Laos, Russia, Peru, and the Czech Republic, among others.
Organizers said the event aims to strengthen friendship activities and raise public awareness of environmental protection, while promoting the image of Hanoi as a modern, civilized capital and a city for peace.

HAUFO President Nguyen Ngoc Ky called the program an opportunity to introduce to domestic and international friends the image of Hanoi, with the peaceful space surrounding Hoan Kiem Lake, and promote the habit of cycling.

Indonesian Ambassador Denny Abdi said both Indonesia and Vietnam have committed to net zero emissions by 2050 at the 26th UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) in the UK in 2021, noting this event is a practical activity to achieve the goal, and demonstrates Vietnam's contribution to a peaceful, green and resilient world.
