President Trần Đại Quang meets the China – Vietnam Friendship Association
(Vietpeace) The President highly appreciated the contributions of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with other countries and the China – Vietnam Friendship Association to the bilateral relationship.
President Trần Đại Quang and the president of the Chinese People’s Association For Friendship with other countries, Li Xiaolin.
On May 12th, President Trần Đại Quang received delegations from the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with other countries, the China – Vietnam Friendship Association and the relatives such as Chinese patriotics and experts who had friendly relations with Vietnam in Bejing, China. The leader of delegation was Li Xiao Lin, the president of the Chinese People’s Association For Friendship with other countries.
At the meeting, Quang affirmed that the Party, State and people of Vietnam would be always grateful to the precious support and assistance of the Party, State and people of China, including Chinese individuals, officials and experts who had dedicated to Vietnam’s struggle for national liberation and unification.
The President emphasized that the bilateral friendship, established by Presidents Hồ Chí Minh and Mao Zedong and have been nurtured by bilateral generations, would be precious asset between two countries. Thus both sides should strive to preserve, inherit and reinforce strong relation.
President Quang highly valued the great contributions of the Chinese People’s Association For Friendship with other countries and the China – Vietnam Friendship Association in strengthening bilateral relationship and contributing to the development of the two Parties’ relations.
For her part, Li Xiaolin reported various activities of the Association and she recognized that people – to – people exchanges contributed to enhance mutual understanding. Li Xiaolin affirmed that she would do her utmost to reinforce and nurture the special friendship.
Representative of former Chinese experts’ families expressed their concern about the memories of friendship between the two peoples and affirmed that he would continue to propagate and educate the next generation with a view to promoting the precious tranditional bilateral relationship.
