(Vietpeace) Leaders of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations have extended warm congratulations to all journalists and the mass media on the occasion of the 89th Vietnam Press Day (21/6/1925 – 21/6/2014).
Attending a meeting organized by the VUFO and its External Information Department on June 16, VUFO’s President Vu Xuan Hong thanked veteran journalists who have been accompanying and making great contribution to the brilliant history of Vietnam’s people-to-people diplomacy over the past 60 years.
On this occasion, VUFO’s Thoi Dai (Times) newspaper has launched a web-based version in Chinese language. The web page aims to help Chinese readers all over the world get more knowledge about Vietnam as a country, it’s people and culture, the Communist Party and state’ policies towards prosperity, peace and stability.
The Times in Chinese language features information of Vietnam’s renewal and integration process as well as the relations between Vietnam and China. The domain of the website is Shidai.com.vn or Shidai.vn and two sub domains are cn.Shidai.com.vn and cn.Shidai.vn.
