Pham Tien Van, Vice President of Viet Nam - RoK Friendship Association, said that floods due to natural disasters in early October caused serious damage to people in the three provinces. On behalf of the Association and Vietnamese people, he appreciated President Choi’s heart for his timely support, helping people in flooded areas will soon overcome adversity to stabilize their lives. Over the past years, the RoK – Viet Nam Friendship Association and some of its partners have been cooperating with the Viet Nam - RoK Friendship Association to organize many people-to-people exchanges, economic, trade cooperation and education exchange, contributing to the friendship between the two countries.
Speaking at the ceremony, President the RoK – Viet Nam Friendship Association Choi Young Joo expressed his sympathy for severe damages caused by natural calamities. He hoped that this support from the group would contribute to stabilizing the lives of people in the flood. President Choi presented symbolic aid of VND 500 million and 100,000 T-shirts to the leaders of three provinces.
