At the reception, Mr. Bui The Giang welcomed the delegation’s visit to Vietnam. The delegation was provided with information about Vietnam; the fine development of bilateral relations between Vietnam and the United States of America and the wishes of the Vietnamese people and the young generation in the enhancement of VN – US diplomatic relations, especially in the fields of education, economy, trade, humanitarian aid…
In addition, he also made introduction of VUFO’s and VAS’s activities in promotions of relationship between Vietnamese people and the world peoples, particularly the American people, to the delegation.
Mr. Carter Sio, on behalf of the delegation, expressed his delight and honor to be welcomed at VUFO’s headquarters. He said the visit aimed at learning about the country and people of Vietnam; and the students of George High School would participate in volunteer activities at a number of humanitarian centres in Hanoi and Mai Chau - Hoa Binh province.
He hoped that there will be such more activities to further promote the bilateral relations between the peoples of the two countries in the future./.
