At the reception, Mr. Vu Xuan Hong welcomed Ms. Meirav Eilon Shahar’s visit to VUFO and made an introduction of VUFO’s organizational structure, statutes, main tasks and member organizations, which acts as a bridge between the Vietnamese organizations and those of other countries and plays focal point role in foreign non-governmental organization (NGO) affairs.
In addition, Mr. Vu Xuan Hong hoped that the two sides will soon set up the bilateral friendship associations to boost relations between Vietnamese people and Israeli people.
Ms. Meirav Eilon Shahar expressed her sincere thanks to VUFO’s President for the warm reception and agreed with the need of establishing bilateral friendship associations between the two countries. She affirmed that the Embassy of Israel in Hanoi will collaborate closely with VUFO to further promote activities for further understandings of the country, people, economic potential of the two countries./.
