This is an activity within the framework of the visit of the delegation in Vietnam on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Russian October Revolution (7/11/1917 - 7/11/2017).
Sharing some remarkable activities of the Russia – Viet Nam Friendship Association, V.Buianov said that the Association will make a fundamental change in its activities in order to strengthen the link between two countries. The Association focuses on students’ activities. There was a recent drawing contest entitled "National Liberation Movement" with the participation of both children of the two countries and publication of books and poetry collections prasing the traditional friendship.
Thanks to the contributions of V.Buianov, Party Secretary Hoang Trung Hai expressed his pleasure to welcome the delegation on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Russian October Revolution. He stressed that the Russian October Revolution was a significant event for all nations, especially those who stood up for independence, as well as for the Viet Nam’s liberation revolution. This year, a wide range of activities are organized to mark this event educating the special relationship for the young generation, he shared.
Expressing the impression on the achievement that the two Friendship Associations has gained in recent years, Party Secretary Hoang Trung Hai desired the two Associations continue to cooperate closely, affirmed that Hanoi is willing to support to the two associations to achieve the common goal. The Vietnamese will never forget the contributions of the former Soviet as well as Russia to the struggle for national liberation and in the process of socio-economic development. The Party and State of Viet Nam will continue the traditional education, consolidating and building the special relationship between the two countries.
