
Prime Minister expressed the gratitude to the significant contribution to promote bilateral ties in a more substantive manner, the Association of Kansai regional chapter would continue to have more positive activities to strengthen partnership, particularly in people-to-people exchanges, human resources training and business linkage.
PM suggested that Kansai regional chapter of the Japan – Vietnam Friendship Association should promote the investment of local enterprises to Vietnam, especially small and medium – sized ones in the fields of support industry, agriculture and high technology... as well as improve the human resource training, skilled labor and Vietnamese trainees who could have opportunities to study and work for Japanese companies in Kansai. The two countries would jointly organize activities celebrating 45 years of diplomatic relations.
President of the chapter Teiichi Nishimura informed the PM that the chapter has connected Japanese firms with Vietnamese partners, as well as held cultural and art exchanges over the past years.
He vowed to do his best to strengthen exchanges and mutual understanding between the two countries’ people, including those from Kansai and Vietnamese localities.
Meeting Osaka and Sakai prefecture authorities the same day, PM Phúc said Việt Nam appreciates the expansion of co-operation with Japanese localities, including the Osaka prefecture and other localities in the Kansai region, considering it an important factor in advancing ties between Việt Nam and Japan.
Lauding the results of co-operation between the Osaka prefecture and Vietnamese localities, especially Hồ Chí Minh City and Hội An City, he thanked Osaka authorities and people for actively helping the Vietnamese Consulate General perform its role as a bridge linking the Kansai region and Việt Nam which promote bilateral ties in a more substantive manner.
