On May 25th, the opening ceremony of photo exhibition “Belarusian country and people” and Vasily Yasyuk’s painting exhibition “Inspiration line” took place at the Vietnam Center for Art and Culture Exhibition (02 Hoa Lư, Hanoi). Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Vương Duy Biên participated and cut the inauguration band.
The event is part of the Belarusian Culture Days in Vietnam in 2017 celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Vietnam – Belarus diplomatic relations, which have been coordinated by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam and the Ministry of Culture of Belarus and the Belarusian Embassy in Vietnam. It is a cultural activity which has practical meaning, contributing to promoting cultural, arts and tourism exchanges between the two countries.
The photo exhibition “Belarusian country and people” illustrates the main features about the history development through pictures of nature, cultural heritage and the people of Belarus. Throughout the exhibition, Belarus is deeply inscribed as a sovereign nation which has had more than a thousand years of history and traditional customs preserved.
Vasily Yasyuk’s painting exhibition consists of 21 oil paintings using the “a la prima” technique. Each of his paintings expresses creativity, artistic inspiration and special patriotism for Belarus.
The exhibition will last until May 28th. The Opening ceremony of Belarusian Culture Days in Vietnam in 2017 took place on the evening of May 25th at the Hanoi Opera House.
