Activities celebrating the 127th birthday of President Hồ Chí Minh anniversary in India
(Vietpeace) On May 19th in India, many meetings and activities took place to celebrate the 127th birthday of President Hồ Chí Minh ( 19/5/1890 – 19/5/2017).
The book about Hồ Chí Minh’s life and career was translated into Telugu in the meeting in Hyderabaf
On May 19th, All India Peace and Solidarity Organisation (AIPSO) solemnly celebrated the 127th anniversary of the birth of President Hồ Chí Minh at the Federation of Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Hyderabad, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Participants included Minister of Education of Telegala State Kadiyam Srihari, the President of AIPSO K.Yadav Reddy and more than 200 members of AIPSO and Vietnamese Ambassador to India Tôn Sinh Thành.
At the opening ceremony, President K.Yadav Reddy and General Secretaries of AIPSO B.Vinod, Metla Jagan and Thipparthi Yadaiah respectively expressed the precious sentiments between President Hồ Chí Minh and the 1st India Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and shared their feelings about revolutionary life and career of President Hồ Chí Minh and his contributions to the movement of national liberation and the world peace.

K. Srihari emphasized the promotion of cultural relations between the two countries that would further strengthen the extensive strategic partnership.
For his part, Ambassador Tôn Sinh Thành affirmed that President Hồ Chí Minh , an outstanding people of the Vietnamese, a hero of national liberation and the world’s cultural celebrity, devoted his life for the country. Under his leadership, the Vietnamese gained precious achievements that were national liberation and reunification.
Thành emphasized that President Hồ Chí Minh and Prime Minister Jawarharlal Nerhu laid a solid foundation for the India – Vietnam relationship and the strategic partnership, which was signed in 2007, upgraded a relationship to comprehensive strategic partner during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Vietnam in last year. He expressed his hope that the bilateral relationships would continue to improve which contributes significantly to peace, stability and prosperity in the region and the world.
Additionally, the book about the life and career of President Hồ Chí Minh translated into Telugu was launched. The book highlighted Hồ Chí Minh’s identity and revolutionary career attached many illustrations. The ceremony honored with the slogan “Long Live India – Vietnam Friendship, Long Live World Peace”.
