Also present in the meeting were Nguyen Duc Hung, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam – Singapore Friendship Association (VSFA) and Deputy Director-General Le Trung Hieu of VUFO’s Department of Asia and Africa.
Mrs. Van briefly introduced VUFO members and the Vietnam-Singapore Friendship Association, which was established in September 2014 and regarded as a delighted Vietnamese people’s partner dedicated to enhancing mutual understanding and partnership with Singapore’s social organizations.
Mr. Ang Hak Seng said the development of the Vietnam-Singapore relations has been on a good track. He encouraged bilateral cooperative and friendly exchanges to be further promoted and strengthened.
VSFA officials said the association, as a bridge, will contribute to the process of bringing together peoples of the two countries. The two sides have agreed to work further to promote friendship activities in near future.
