Kuwait-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarians Group visits VUFO
(Vietpeace) The Kuwait-Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Group, led by Chairman Khalil Abdulla Ali has paid a visit to Vietnam from September 4-9, 2014. In his reception with the delegation on September 5 at the VUFO headquarters, VUFO Vice President cum General Secretary Don Tuan Phong cordially welcomed the Kuwait-Vietnam friendship parliamentarians and hoped the visit would actively contribute to the promotion of cooperation between the people of Vietnam and Kuwait in general, as well as between the two parliaments in particular.
Introducing the functions and organizational structure of VUFO as a leading Vietnamese organization on building friendship, solidarity and peace with the peoples all over the world, Phong said Vietnam and Kuwait should soon set up friendship associations to promote bilateral relations and mutual understanding.
The VUFO’ leader also asked the Kuwait delegation to convey his best regards and wishes to the King, the State, and people of Kuwait.
At the meeting, Chairman of the Kuwait-Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Group Khalil Abdulla Ali sincerely thanked VUFO Vice President Don Tuan Phong for his time to receive the delegation and confirmed the visit to Vietnam this time was to strengthen friendly relations and bilateral cooperation. Ali Abdulla welcomed the initiative on establishing friendship associations in both countries and vowed he would effort to turn the initiative into reality soonest.
