The event, which runs until August 20, features a plenty of cultural and art activities such as a photo exhibition on the diversification of Vietnamese culture, a Hoi An - Japan art exchange, a Judo martial arts performance and Hoi An - Japan traditional handicrafts, among others.
It is part of activities which contributes to conserving and promoting the close and friendly relations between the two nations, said Nguyen Van Son, Vice Chairman of the Hoi An town People’s Committee.
The opening ceremony saw the performances of famous artists and bands from Japan and Viet Nam.
